Robotic Picking & Packing Machine for Brazilian Household Products Manufacturer
The cooperation with a Brazilian daily chemical manufacturer began on May 31, 2024. The client is a large-scale producer of household and personal care products. In the end-of-line packaging stage, manual operations caused low output and frequent errors. Unordered incoming products requiring shape recognition, orientation detection, and precise positioning became the main issue in the production flow.
Key Issues and Resolutions
High-speed sorting, positioning, orientation and direction identification, automatic feeding and aligning, and palletizing optimization.
To address these needs, Alpha-Pack developed an automatic picking and positioning solution. This system integrated automatic bag feeding, flip-feeding modules, orientation recognition via photoelectric vision sensors, robotic arm picking and placement, labeling, case erecting, sealing, and robotic palletizing into one automated process. The full line included: picking and packaging system featuring case erector APK-40E, case sealer APC-30D, case erector APK-50, case sealer APC-50 carton packaging system, and packing and palletizing robotic system.
Client’s Feedback
The robotic picking system solved the sorting challenges for unordered products. This results in measurable gains in output, consistency, and labor reduction, improving overall line performance.
